                        " To Play or Not To Play"

I as I laid in my bed I began to think
The question to ask what should I do today?
I could exercise or play video games all day.
If I played games I would have fun but...
 it would not be very health.
If I exercised I would not have as much fun but...
 it would be fantastic for my health.
I tossed and turned, most of my friends where online playing just...
because it was easier.
I got up and decided that it would be best if I...
exercise because it would benefit me in the long run.
As I got ready to go and exercise I notice that...
A surge of adrenaline went through my body.
I left my house and ran...
And I decided to exercise everyday.
That made all the difference.

Poetry Reflection

                After the poetry unit poetry had become a bigger part of my live because it has started to interest me.  At the beginning of the poetry unit, poetry was not very important in my live it did not interest me.  Now I want to read different types of poem that I did not even know that exist, that are so interesting that I do not want to stop reading. It did not interested me because I felt that most poem had rules that where difficult to write, they where sometimes boring to read, and sometime even more difficult to understand as certain points. The poetry unit introduced me to so many types of poems that where easier to understand, that where much easier to write, and that where much more interesting than the most commonly found poems.'


               I believe that poetry belongs to everyone in the world and that anyone could read it and/or write it.  I know that poetry belongs to everybody because it is like any other type of writing and it needs to be read to enjoy the creation of others that have made to express their emotions or their creativity.  I also know that poetry is meant to be seen or written by anyone because there are no rules that say that someone cannot write poetry for any reason we are only limited by our imagination and how we are feeling. No one in the world should be deprived the ability to read what they want or what they want to write in their spear time. I could go to a pages document and just type a freestyle poem, post it online and no could stop me for any reason unless it was illegal.



               The life of a poet influence the way he/she writes and interprets a poem up to that point in their live. One way that a poet's life influence their writing is if they got their dream job they might write a poem that is joyful or gleeful. While if they were experiencing a live traumatizing event and the thought of it made them sad then they might write a poem that is melancholy, gloomy, or dreary.  They might project their life experience subconscious into their writing my putting in a metaphor a character that has lived their life like they have. An example of this is "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost, maybe he made a big live decision that he has to live with now that can either be positive or negative.

Spine Book Poem 3/23

 The Mutant and The Hypnotist

Divide and conquer the fault in our stars, attack of the mutant the hypnotist framed.

I wanted to create a poem that was weird and that did not make any sense so that anyone that read it would have to think and create their own story.

The main idea is that a mutant was trying to conquer love with a hypnotist but he was attack and since the hypnotist was there she was framed for the the attack.  The reason I say this is that the phrase "Divide and conquer the fault in our stars; means that the mutant wants to conquer the fault in our stars so he can have it and enjoy it. I believe that the fault in our stars can be interpreted to be a way to say love. Which would show the reader that the mutant wanted to be in love and he loved the hypnotist.

The message and theme of my poem is that not matter what type of person or if you are from a different "plant" you can still be together. I believe that this is theme and the message because the mutant and the hypnotist are two completely different species but it doesn't matter they can still be together.

Found Poem 3/23

Mother's Big Surprise 

New color burned on his skin, cold but warmth did 

not leave her fingertips, you seem so far away. 

You slid under the table sitting tired

 she close her eyes, speaking softly
I'm proud of you

I didn't know you could read.

          The main idea of my poem is that this mother found out that her son finally learned to read so she is so shocked and happy she doesn't know what emotion to feel. That is why I put the phrase cold but warmth did not leave her finger tips. Which shows the reader that she doesn't know how to react to this big event in her child's live.  As well that is why she closes her eyes because she is crying at this great accomplishment of her child. Which shows the reader that she truly cares for her son.

          The theme and message of my poems that you should always be happy and/or shock to the accomplishment of those you care for. I believe that this is the message and theme of the poem is this because this mother was crying when she found out that her son was reading. Also she now knows that he is growing up and that she is doing something correctly if her son is learning to read.  Which shows the reader that she feels unhappy knowing that soon he will be able to do more things without her.

phone is my live                          my entire life.

     We are from two completely different worlds

I have been home                       I go to public school
schooled since I was                   and I am currently going
born.                                           to C average middle school

           We have been schooled all our life
I respect all life                           I could not cared less
in the world and                          for any animal less
they should be                             for any plant life all
cared for.                                      that matters is that it is my year
        We have different ways of seeing nature.
I am school president                     I am not school president
the crazy thing is that                     but I made is so Cap would
I never ran for office                     be president and make himself look like a fool
            We both had a part in this years school elections.
I have lived with                             I have lived with my family
Rain and a farm                               in a house and I have lived
my entire life                                   a normal life since I was
until now                                          born until now
       We have met each other and now our lives will not be the same.
